ARTECORP is a family-run business that offers minerals from around the world, jewels, gems and sculptures made by worldwide renowned artists. Some of our pieces are  Museum worthy.

For the creation of our sculptures, we endeavor to conserve the most outstanding parts of crystals’ natural formations that we carefully selected. We perform this process for our clients to appreciate the geological miracle of our gems.

We focus mainly on the Quartz family within the Mineral World, but our collection also includes minerals that can be considered unique.

MY COLLECTOR PROFILE

At seven years old I started collecting stamps. When I was 10 my father taught me how to hunt, fish, wash gold and showed me the mines of the largest Private Mining Group in Bolivia. There I had de opportunity to admire this impressive works of engineering. The Estalsa mine with its giant dredge and Chojlla with endless sinkholes and levels where I had the opportunity to discover this important mine.

It was in this mine where miners gave me my first mineral samples.  This is what started my passion for minerals and for exploring my environment.

At 30 years old I managed a Tin mine called «Ensueño» in Nor Yungas – La Paz. I was also a member of a mining consultancy, working as the administrator and coordinator of explorations. There we did a study of the mining reserves of Lead, Silver and Zinc in Bolivia for the Ministry of Mines. I also coordinated logistics activities of a Scheelite mine in San Luis – Argentina and started my own mining activity behind the   Nevado Illimani – La Paz, called “Santa Maria de Araca”, in which I failed due to lack of resources.

Finally, all this led me to possess a wide collection of minerals from all over the world.
